Mike Toussaint

Mike Toussaint, originally from San Antonio, TX, joined the US Navy in 1990 and retired as a Senior Chief in 2011. While serving, he also became a Texas commissioned Peace Officer in 2002. After retiring from the Navy, Mike worked as a full-time police officer in the San Antonio area, becoming a Master Peace Officer, Firearms Instructor, Sergeant of Criminal Investigations, and multiple other certifications, eventually retiring as a Sergeant. Throughout his career, Mike handled and trained K-9s, supervised various departments, and led K-9 programs, including Navy Special Warfare Research and Development Group (NSWDG). He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Charleston. Mike received a Silver Star for combat actions in Afghanistan while serving as the Kennel Master at (NSWDG) with his K9 Combat Assault Dog (CAD), Remco.
