Karl ("ACE")

Hailing from South Alabama, "Ace" is a career special operations professional with over 20 years of experience operating at the tip of the spear. He served 12 years with the United States Marine Corps, the majority of which was with special operations, where he held multiple leadership roles in missions around the globe.

Throughout his military career, Ace conducted deployments to South Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, executing counterterrorism, direct action, and special reconnaissance missions in support of national security objectives. His time in special operations forged his expertise in small-unit tactics, unconventional warfare, and operating in austere, politically sensitive environments.  He was critically wounded in an IED blast during a deployment to Iraq and was medically retired from the military-though not from the mission. 

After a lengthy and determined recovery, he continued to serve, taking on a new role with the United States Department of State. For the next 8 years, he deployed globally in support of diplomatic security operations in high threat locations. 

Today, Ace applies the same focus, discipline and mission first mindset to the corporate world. He consults with security teams across industries--bringing lessons learned from the battlefield to the boardroom. His work focuses on risk management, executive protection, physical security programs, and preparing organizations to operate safely in uncertain and dynamic environments. His operational background, leadership under fire, and real-world experience make him a trusted advisor in the field of global security.
