Fernando Pena-Franco

With 10 years of service in the U.S. Air Force Security Forces (2012-2022) including 3.5 years as a K9 handler and trainer, Fernando brings extensive experience in law enforcement, military operations, and canine training.  He completed two overseas deployments and has spent the past 8 years specializing in training dogs for police work, home protection, obedience and detection.  He is passionate about precision and discipline. Fernando is dedicated to developing highly capable and reliable working dogs.  Fernando has worked as a civilian for Gold Coast K-9 (on their working dog side) and additionally at a Texas based K9 training center as a pet trainer. Fernando is Setpoint K9's assigned Service Dog Trainer specializing in a variety of unique civilian service dog needs including guide dogs, seizure and alert dogs, diabetic alert dogs, disability assistance dogs, allergy alert dogs and PTSD dogs among others.
